Chrishell Stause is slamming her “Selling Sunset” co-star, Christine Quinn, for telling Page Six that she and her ex-husband, Justin Hartley, went to therapy before their split.
“I just learned Christine is giving press ‘information’ about my divorce,” Stause, 38, tweeted on Monday. “Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so. Anything from her is either a complete lie or total conjecture on her part.”
Hartley, 43, filed for divorce in November, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. Stause claimed in the trailer for her show’s upcoming third season that she was “blindsided.”
However, Quinn, 31, told us that the couple were “having communication problems for a while.”
“We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them,” she added.
After our interview published, Stause added in a separate tweet, “It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves. I can’t say I am surprised, but please check the source. She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had.”
When a fan tagged Quinn in Stause’s tweets, saying, “I haven’t even heard of u speaking about her marriage other than u felt sorry for her,” Quinn responded, “I didn’t say anything bad at all.”
In our interview, Quinn also praised Hartley as an “absolute doll” and “sweetheart.”
She said, “I thought that was really interesting considering the dynamic between Chrishell and I. He has been nothing but nice and supportive to us.”
A rep for Stause did not return requests for comment.
